I believe that I am a co-learner with my children, their families and my community.

I believe that families compliment teachers’ skills and abilities as they contribute valuable and unique perspectives to the curriculum.

I understand that play is the primary mode for learning in early childhood; play is the framework for my curriculum because I know that children learn best through play and through active participation with novel activities and experiences.

My values and beliefs support my philosophy and propel me to plan learning environments that consider all of the children’s achievements, needs and interests and the vast range of learning experiences that will help them to make progress.
